Maria25/07/2025We have a 94 year old mom who lives by herself in a house that is somewhat dilapidated. After the huge rainstorm last weekend she had a quite a bad leak coming from her flat roof into her downstairs bathroom and all of her lights, (on the same curcuit) were not working, though she had socket power. She panicks about tradespeople coming to her house and has been ripped off in the past, so I used Age UK's directory to find an electrician who could help. Andy came out the very next day and was courteous and professional. The house does need rewiring but he was perfectly happy to tell us what needed to be do to make the house safe and get the lights all working again. After my nephew mended the leaky roof I called Andy again to carry out the work as quoted and he, again was on time, carried out the work that need to be done, which was a bit problematic job for him as everything in mom's house is so old and really needs updating. Mom often gets confused, so we were there to make sure she knew what was going on. We couldn't have asked for a nicer guy. I am so pleased with all aspects of his work, timekeeping, attitude, costing. He'll be the first person I recommend if anyone else I know needs a reliable sparky, regardless of their age!

I had Andy recommended to me by a friend of mine who had issues and was completely satisfied, I called Andy, and he gave me time and date and was there slightly before had, he sorted all issues we had and also ran me and my partner through issues he also found, is fire safety issues and electrical issues unknown,...he never left any think I could point out, and I've already recommended him to a couple of my friends in which he since completed, and I'm moving and his the first man I'm calling. -
